I am Jake Villadolid, an Asian-American director and I seek to tell stories off the beaten path. I have directed various short films appearing in festivals across the United States, award winning music videos, and various commercials & promotional material.  I believe as a storyteller, it is my purpose to motivate, inspire, and help us understand each other. I strive to be a director who makes films that are compelling, fun, and exciting, with a style inspired by the likes of Edgar Wright, Stephen Chow, and Taika Waititi. If it’s quirky, if it’s unconventional, if it makes you smile, if it makes you think, if it shows you a side you’ve never seen before- I want to tell it.
